Initial Consultation

Using an illuminated microscopic camera wand, 10x, 50x, and 200x magnified images of your scalp will be captured. Digital imaging is the first step in the assessment process, and a valuable tool in understanding the nature of your hair loss. You'll leave your initial consultation with a printout of your analysis attached. After this test, a treatment program will be laid out – with results expected in about three months. You will also be provided with special shampoo and skin creams that ease the process along. Laser therapy will work on the entire scalp – unlike Rogaine, which mainly works on the crown of the head.

Therapy Schedule

Optimum results with laser therapy are achieved through a consistent treatment schedule. It takes time for the body to respond, and convert energy into new hair. For the resolution of hair loss, one full year of treatment is recommended, according to the following guidelines:

• Months 1 to 4: 1 hr per week
• Months 5 to 8: 1 hr every other week
• Months 9-12: 1 hr per month

Treatment Process

You'll sit under the laser unit, which is shaped like large hair dryer, for approximately 60 minutes. There is no sound, odor, and the experience is painless. Many clients read, watch TV, or relax during their therapy. The frequency and the number of treatments vary depending on the extent of your hair loss. The extent of the treatment is determined by our staff, after reviewing your hair loss history, hair density and scalp health.

All-Natural Hair Products

The full benefit of Laser Therapy is attained by the use of specially formulated, all-natural hair products. Unlike many chemically-based shampoos and hair products sold in stores, our products do not contain harmful chemicals that can damage the body's ability to grow hair. Each month, you'll receive a supply of these botanically-derived shampoos, creams, and rinses as part of the treatment plan.

Recheck

Periodically, you'll have a re-examination of your scalp using our digital imaging system. This will help BHC staff and you to see your progress and amend the treatment program accordingly.
